Jester from Critical Role Crochet Pattern

Needed

Yarn: light blue (lb), blue (b), dark blue (db) [black is also an option but I did her tights and horns as a navy blue], Brown (br), white (wh), and green (gr) medium weight yarn (I used all bernat premium yarn but all you really need is yarn that is all the same thickness)
Hooks: 5.00mm and 3.00mm
Other supplies: embroidery needle, dark and light pink embroidery floss, stuffing, liquid glue (I've found modge podge works best) and wax paper
Stitches: magic ring, single crochet stitch (sc), chain stitch (ch), 2 sc in a stitch (inc), and remove stitch (dec)

Pattern

Legs, Body, and Head (5.00mm hook and brown, dark blue [or black], and light blue yarn)

10: sc 14 attaching two legs together (db)
(I usually sc 3 on the first leg then move to the second leg and sc it all before moving back to the first leg and getting to the end of the row but it doesn't really matter, just move over where feels right)
11: sc 14 (db)
(use this point to take the loose thread from fastening first leg and use that to sew up any hole left in the crotch of the doll and then stuff the legs)

Put one ch into a piece of yarn. The stitch will be the end of the tail coat the yarn the length you want the tail to be in liquid glue. Put this yarn onto wax paper in the shape you want her tail to be. Let dry. Use the end which shouldn't be covered in glue to sew onto body. Cut off and extra glue and yarn.

1: ch 6 (wh)
(fasten of, make 4 of these stips and sew two on the front and two on the back, then take the light pink embrogery thread and hide it in the inside of the dress and have it come out to make designes on the white piece then attack the skirt to the doll with the end yarn at the top if you want it attached)

2-17: sc 3, ch, turn (br)

Belt (5.00mm hook, brown yarn, dark pink embroidery thread)
(your going to want to take the embroidery thread and hold it with the yarn and crochet them bothe together as if they were a single piece of yarn)
1: ch 24
(fasten off, loop it around the dolls waist  pull tight and sew the start end into the other side letting any extra loops go down in the front)

Sleeve (5.00mm hook, white yarn and light pink embroidery thread)
(this will start with crochet in the round but stop that when the pattern tells you to start turning)
1: ch 8 (wh)
2-5: sc 8 (wh)
6-16: sc 8, ch, turn (wh)
(fasten off, sew the top of the sleeve to the white part of the doll, then use light pink embroidery thread to do make a design on the bottom of the sleeve, remember you can see both sides)

Glove (5.00mm hook and blue yarn)
1: ch 8 (b)

9: sc, 6, inc, ch, turn (db)
(fasten off, sew into cone using end yarn, take that yarn back to the bottom keeping it in one side of the cone and pull tight curving the cone, sew horn onto head using that remaining yarn, use starting end to pull end of the cone into the right spot by sewing it)

Hair (3.00mm hook [I always use a 2.00mm hook for hair but the 3 works] and blue yarn)
Cut yarn into pieces at least 15 cm. Then take your hook and place it into the head between stitches and make a loop of yarn by pulling it through with a piece of yarn folded over it put ends of yarn through loop. The yarn will want to fall onto the side the loop is on so make parts by putting the hook in oppisit directions. make a part with two solid lines of hair, also make a single solid line at bottom of hair. Fill in middle area as you see fit remember the more hair you put the more poofy it will be.
